This event was held over three days July 15 to 17, 2019. The weather was reasonable for that time of year with only a few showers on the last day. There were eight entrants with handicaps ranging from 9 to 2.5 – Jim Curtis (Aldinga Bay), Barry Jennings (Hyde Park), Malcolm Kinch (Snowtown), Shirley Howlett (Victor Harbor), David Short (Norwood), Di Helier (Victor Harbor), Kevin Le Poidevin (North Adelaide) and Geoffrey Wheaton (Norwood).
David Short was the winner with 6 out of 7 wins. Runner-up was Jim Curtis with 4 wins (+23 hoops).
Also on 4 wins were Malcom Kinch (+13), Di Helier (+2) and Shirley Howlett (-2). David improved his handicap from 5 to 4.5 and Di improved her handicap from 6 to 5. There were some close fought games with only 1 hoop the difference – Di Helier won two and lost two by only one, Shirley Howlett won two games by one hoop. Many thanks to Hyde Park CC for managing the event.
